He graduated MBBS from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, then completed his oncology residency at the University of Virginia Hospital and a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He founded Bharath Hospital & Institute of Oncology (1989) and Bangalore Institute of Oncology before launching HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) in 2005, expanding affordable cancer care across India via a hub-and-spoke model. He introduced advanced platforms like CyberKnife™, TrueBeam™, molecular diagnostics, and precision medicine. He served as President of the Association of Healthcare Providers (Bangalore) and is the recipient of EY Entrepreneur of the Year, CII Emerging Entrepreneur, and B.C. Roy Award.
